Are you an ambitious Commercial Manager looking to work on high-profile Transmission projects?
As a Commercial Manager, you'll manage and assist the Commercial Department and project team to maximise profit and reduce risk, providing on hand experience and mentoring.
You’ll be responsible for MQS, QS and AQS roles across the portfolio of projects, assisting with the ongoing implementation/integration of commercial acumen and skills with all site personnel whilst developing lasting relationships with Business Unit and Project Managers.
You’ll compile information for preparing reports and claims to agreed timescales, whilst referring to the project risk management plan for thorough, accurate, high-level risk assessment ensuring compliance at all times.
Are you skilled in weekly forecasting and producing financial reports for analysis? Are you confident in managing subcontractors to ensure consistency across the portfolio of projects?
We’re looking for someone who can actively promote, suggest and develop processes for increased accuracy minimising reconciliation tasks and enhance project profit by identifying variations, delays and claims.
- Knowledge of the Electricity Transmission (OHL / Substations) industry would be beneficial but we would consider major infrastructure experience managing multimillion pound projects
- Experience managing major subcontractor packages & the Client
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying Graduate or graduate calibre
- Contract experience, capturing site records for variations and valuations; supporting a project team
