Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, you’ll be assigned a contractual location but you’ll be working from home most of the time, with ad hoc team meetings in one of our locations.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around technical solution design and has experience working with SME or larger customers. You’ll be the person who can confidently present ideas, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships with customers. If you’re a self-starter with a can-do attitude, you’ll thrive here especially when the pressure’s on to deliver profitable, practical solutions. You’ll bring a solid understanding of design best practices and the technologies that make up customer estates. High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, and Bill of Materials will be second nature to you, and you’ll be comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office and Visio to get the job done.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, can-do mindset - you’ll take ownership and deliver innovative solutions under pressure
• The ability to produce complex Low-Level Designs and Site Implementation documents
• Strong technical knowledge across Layer 2 and 3, IP Networking, load balancing, MPLS, Radio, and routing protocols
• Legacy tech know-how, including SDH, PDH, and ISDN
• Awareness of firewall and security technologies
