Where will you be working? At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing? This role involves working with communal television systems across Bristol. You will help maintain, design, build and commission Integrated Reception Systems. You will also support the management team with technical advice when needed. You will be part of a team that works across different sites. You will help survey properties and agree plans with clients. You will also help install and test systems. You will work with aerials, satellites and electronic equipment. You will help make sure signals are strong and systems are working well. You will be expected to follow health and safety rules. You will help keep records and take part in weekly stock checks. You will also take part in training to build your skills and knowledge.

You will be someone who can work on your own and as part of a team. You will be able to solve problems and explain things clearly. You will be willing to learn and take part in courses that help you grow. You will help make sure systems are installed properly and that faults are found and fixed. What you’ll bring; You will have experience working with communal television systems. You will understand how to install and maintain aerial and satellite equipment. You will be familiar with fault finding and know how to check signals and make sure systems are working as they should. You will have worked with electronic equipment and know how to commission systems. You will be able to record signal levels and follow the format provided. You will understand the importance of keeping accurate records and following health and safety rules. You will be confident working on your own and able to manage your time well. You will be comfortable surveying properties and speaking with clients when needed. You will be able to explain technical matters in a way that others can understand. You will have taken part in training and be open to learning more. You will be willing to develop your skills and take part in courses that help you grow. You will be able to support others and share your knowledge when asked. You will be someone who takes pride in your work and pays attention to detail.
