Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. We’re looking for a Civil Resident Setting Out Engineer to join our Electrical Transmission team. You’ll help deliver key substation projects across the UK, working with big names like National Grid and SSE. You’ll be hands-on with planning, design, and construction, helping keep things on track and up to standard.

  • RC foundations, drainage, ducting, earthworks, roads, fencing
  • Support site and project managers in meeting key design and build milestones
  • Assist TWC/TWS throughout project lifecycle
  • Prepare handover documents, H&S files, and inspection plans
  • Attend design/coordination meetings and support tender planning

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience in surveying/setting out
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Experience in electrical transmission/distribution preferred
  • CSCS card and full UK driving licence required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, and CAD
