As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets. Want to come and be a part of it? As the Materials Coordinator your duties & responsibilities will be:
Control of the stock in and out of the depot by use of the stores issue sheets. Ensuring all deliveries are checked against the delivery notes and stored away in their relevant locations. General cleanliness and tidiness of the stores and yard to be kept to a high standard and health and safety to be adhered to and implemented at all times. Maintaining a clean and orderly depot. Issuing stock out to operatives on a daily basis ensuring it is booked to the correct contract and job. Receiving deliveries, checking them against delivery notes Return any stock back into the depot Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder as required Phone suppliers to obtain quotes – 3 required for nonstandard items approval from clients Completion of requisitions for materials into stock or to job and update req tracker Recording of GRNs and stock transactions in Oracle Daily input of stock issued and returned by operatives Transfer of stock between stock accounts, FGloss, Client stock, write off & main stock Undertake monthly stock take in line with reporting lines Update Oracle (IT system) when stock take complete to ensure physical stock numbers are correct Provide details for monthly stock report To complete paperwork relevant to the task To be prepared to work in a flexible manner/multi-task Knowledge of Health and Safety, adhering to it at all times To carry out any other duties appropriate for this post Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Able to fully understand Instructions Good knowledge and use of IT systems - use of MS applications Have a basic knowledge of health and safety. Good Communication Skills Ideally would have an understanding of street lighting (not essential) What's in it for you?
