Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the commercial side of your projects on track. You’ll work closely with teams across Operations, Finance and Procurement to make sure everything is delivered smoothly, while keeping a strong handle on costs, contracts and commercial controls. You’ll be part of a wider team including QSs, Commercial Admins, Procurement and Finance all working together to deliver the best outcomes for your projects.

  • Managing NEC contracts day-to-day, including early warnings, compensation events, and notices
  • Keeping a close eye on cashflow, costs, and margins to protect project performance
  • Managing the supply chain from onboarding to payments and final accounts
  • Producing and presenting CVRs and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Keeping records, reports, and commercial data clean, compliant, and up to date

Requirements:

  • Around 3+ years experience in a QS/commercial role within construction or infrastructure
  • Solid NEC contract knowledge
  • Confidence managing valuations, CVRs, and subcontractor accounts
  • Strong commercial mindset with an eye for detail, risk, and opportunity
  • Good Excel and general IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
