As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets.
Want to come and be a part of it? As the Materials Coordinator your duties & responsibilities will be: Control of the stock in and out of the depot by use of the stores issue sheets. Ensuring all deliveries are checked against the delivery notes and stored away in their relevant locations.
General cleanliness and tidiness of the stores and yard to be kept to a high standard and health and safety to be adhered to and implemented at all times.
Maintaining a clean and orderly depot.
Issuing stock out to operatives on a daily basis ensuring it is booked to the correct contract and job.
Receiving deliveries, checking them against delivery notesReturn any stock back into the depotMonitor minimum stock levels and reorder as requiredPhone suppliers to obtain quotes – 3 required for nonstandard items approval from clientsCompletion of requisitions for materials into stock or to job and update req trackerRecording of GRNs and stock transactions in OracleDaily input of stock issued and returned by operativesTransfer of stock between stock accounts, FGloss, Client stock, write off & main stockUndertake monthly stock take in line with reporting linesUpdate Oracle (IT system) when stock take complete to ensure physical stock numbers are correctProvide details for monthly stock reportTo complete paperwork relevant to the taskTo be prepared to work in a flexible manner/multi-taskKnowledge of Health and Safety, adhering to it at all timesTo carry out any other duties appropriate for this postSkills & Knowledge Requirements Able to fully understand InstructionsGood knowledge and use of IT systems - use of MS applicationsHave a basic knowledge of health and safety.
