Where will you be working? Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.
What will you be doing? This is a hands-on delivery role supporting major M&E projects from tender through to completion within a highly regulated transport environment. You’ll lead project teams, act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, and ensure safe, compliant delivery under CDM 2015 and NEC/JCT contracts, producing all required H&S and construction documentation. Manage projects under NEC3, JCT and bespoke contracts, including tender evaluations, planning, programming and applications. Deliver projects safely, on time, within scope and budget, in compliance with CDM 2015. Plan and coordinate resources, subcontractors, materials and wholesalers to ensure effective delivery. Develop and manage project scope, plans, change control, risks and performance reporting, escalating issues where required. Lead client and stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Produce and maintain project documentation, quality assurance records (including ITPs), and reporting to support successful project completion.

- Proven project management experience delivering complex, multi-workstream projects to tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to matrix-manage teams across functions, partners and clients.
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Highly numerate and articulate, with excellent written, verbal and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated, professional and flexible, with a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in process improvement, current technologies and IT methodologies.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Project, Visio, SharePoint and Power Platforms.
- Confident communicator, experienced in stakeholder engagement, presentations and workshops.
- Relevant project management or business qualification (ILM Level 5 desirable), SMSTS certified.
- Demonstrates and promotes company values and behaviours.
