Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing?
This role will be within our Clean Water Delivery Team. You’ll act as the primary on-site authority for health and safety and conduct and document thorough risk assessments (RAS) prior to starting work. You’ll ensure full compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and relevant legislation and maintain a safe and organised worksite, including traffic management and appropriate signage. We’ll need you to manage the end-to-end delivery of metering installations and new connections whilst ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
What you’ll bring
- Do you hold a current and valid Water Hygiene card and a valid StreetWorks Ticket (NRSWA)?
- Have you got proven hands-on experience in water metering or new connections?
- Do you have strong understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessments?
- Are you someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
