Where will you be working? As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

What will you be doing? In this role, you'll oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, from creation and goods receipting to query resolution and order expediting. Working closely with stakeholders and suppliers, you'll help ensure efficient procurement operations and the timely delivery of goods and services. You will be based remotely, with some occasional travel to our Stevenage office. You will be responsible for:

  • Purchase Order Management: Raise and manage purchase orders using the company ERP system (Oracle Fusion), ensuring compliance with Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL) and operational SLAs.
  • Goods Receipting: Support the goods receipting process, ensuring requisitioners adhere to operational SLAs and accuracy.
  • Query Management: Resolve requisitioner and stakeholder queries effectively.
  • Purchase Order Expediting: Ensure timely delivery of purchase orders and escalate issues as needed.

What you’ll bring: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a similar role. 5x passing GCSEs including minimum C grade in Maths is a requirement. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience managing multiple deadlines and tasks.
