This role is to support the Plant and Fleet business in maintaining high standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) performance across operational activities. The role works closely with operational teams to provide practical SHEQ support, promote continuous improvement, ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation, and assist in driving a positive safety culture throughout the business. Please note this role is a 12 month FTC.

Provide daily SHEQ support and guidance to operational teams, ensuring up-to-date risk assessments, method statements, and safe working systems. Proactively address safety queries and support incident prevention, leading safety meetings and facilitating open discussions on improvement actions.

Conduct investigations into operational incidents, review plant and fleet specifications for safety, and undertake compliance inspections and drug and alcohol testing. Maintain, analyse, and report on SHEQ performance data, delivering insights to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

Drive SHEQ projects, support process implementation, and help maintain the Business Management System, continually improving safety practices, documentation, and overall operational efficiency. Your analytical expertise shines through in your ability to interpret and present key data trends, supporting informed decision-making. Adept at building collaborative relationships, you ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld while driving continuous improvement across operations.
