Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our distribution and connections team. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers, carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement. This role will require some travel nationally to different offices and can be based in Newcastle/Nottingham/Birmingham on a hybrid basis.

What you’ll bring:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role within a business-facing environment.
- Strong understanding of contract accounting, commercial finance, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience in a similar or larger size business with transferable skills and experience from other industries of equivalent operational complexity.
