Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
What will you be doing?
- Lead M Group Telecom’s National Grid delivery capability (NGET/NESO), ensuring successful capital project execution across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
- Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and governance to meet business goals.
- Direct national delivery teams, champion safety, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Act as customer escalation point, aligning delivery with contractual and strategic expectations.
- Build a high-performing, demand-responsive organisation.
- Own delivery forecasting, revenue, and margin targets.
- Ensure projects meet time, budget, quality, and service standards.
- Guide and develop project managers.
- Uphold governance and risk controls.
- Collaborate across finance, PMO, design, and engineering teams.
- Track KPIs and promote continuous improvement.
- Support long-term business planning with accurate forecasting.
What you’ll bring?
- Proven leadership in complex delivery programmes with strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in programme methodologies, risk, planning, and conflict management.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Experience at Programme Manager or Head of level, managing £10m+ portfolios.
- Demonstrates integrity, resilience, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Qualified in MSP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Holds a relevant degree.
- Telecoms or infrastructure experience preferred, with analytical skills and ability to lead through change.
