Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, were enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

Were looking for a talented Solutions Architect to design and deliver innovative technical solutions for a leading utility client. This hybrid position offers a mix of office collaboration, remote working, and occasional travel to project sites.
Location:UK-wide, with your contractual base at the nearest M Group office.
What will you be doing?
Youll capture and analyse customer requirements to design scalable, repeatable, and customised solutionsalways looking to use standard services where possible. Youll be the go-to authority for technical sign-off, covering everything from designs and test approaches to operational handovers.
Youll work closely with customers and stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring technical and project outcomes align with design principles. As the IP technical authority, youll build trusted relationships and provide end-to-end guidance.
Youll design and support deployments that keep customer networks fit for purpose, using templated, modular, and industrialised configurations. Quality assurance will be your priority throughout the design and implementation process, making sure standards are always met.
What youll bring?

- Ability to produce complex High-Level and Low-Level designs
- Strong technical knowledge across Layer 2/3, IP Networking, load balancing, MPLS, Radio, and routing protocols
- Legacy tech know-how, including SDH, PDH, and ISDN
- Awareness of firewall and security technologies
- IP and Data Centre expertise (this is a must!)
- Strong knowledge transfer and mentoring skills
