Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing?
- As our Managing Quantity Surveyor you’ll be managing a team of Quantity Surveyors delivering projects ranging in value from £5m to £30m.
- You’ll be ensuring that internal and external reports, particularly forecasting are accurate and that forecasted VOWD targets are achieved.
- You’ll need to implement robust procurement trackers and lead the procurement of high value packages.
- Mentor and support apprentices and assistant Quantity Surveyors to enable them to achieve their full potential.
- Review and streamline current reporting processes to free up time for Quantity Surveyors to focus on value adding, risk reducing activities and tasks.
