Where will you be working? Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electricalsolutionsand station structures across all rail routes in the UK. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? The primary purpose of the Senior Site Manager is to oversee and manage civil engineering projects frominceptionto completion. The Site Agent ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role requires effective coordination of all on-site activities, including workforce management, subcontractor supervision, and client liaison. Plan and deliver construction projects, managing resources, timelines,budgetsand milestones. Lead on-site teams and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient execution. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental,legaland regulatory requirements. Monitor progress through site meetings,inspectionsand quality controls, resolving issues promptly. Manage financial performance, reporting,forecastingandidentifyingcost efficiencies. Act as the primary client and stakeholder contact, providing regular updates and managing relationships. Identifyand mitigate project risks whilemaintainingaccurateproject documentation and records. Whatyoullbring Bachelors degree in Civil Engineeringor related field. Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
