Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you’ll be doing

As our Site Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the site, managing gangs and subcontractors while ensuring all safety procedures are followed. This includes delivering briefings, ensuring RAMS are adhered to, and confirming permits and PTWs are in place. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining the quality of works by completing checks, closing out snags, and ensuring all standards are met. Daily records such as the site diary, photos, inspections, and permits must be accurately maintained.

You’ll play a key role in keeping production moving by planning upcoming activities and maintaining a strong look-ahead. Any issue that could stop work, cause an incident, or delay the programme must be escalated the same day, including permit or traffic management problems, missing materials, utility conflicts, welfare concerns, or quality issues.

  • NRSWA Street Works Supervisor
  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience on Thames Water / clean water mains renewal (poly/ductile)
  • CAT & Genny awareness/competence, confined space (if applicable), first aid
