Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
What will you be doing?
- Lead a team of technical engineers in a 24x7x365 technical network and compute environment providing supervision and management.
- Manage fault ticket administration and jeopardy management to maintain SLAs.
- Produce and analyse fault ticket performance reports to drive improvements.
- Host, lead, and oversee technical bridges with customers to resolve faults, including out-of-hours support.
- Facilitate cross-team liaison, acting as primary point of contact.
- Oversee engineer bookings, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Supervise email inbox management, ensuring efficient and professional responses.
- Direct creation and deployment of Microsoft Forms for operational workflows.
- Conduct and lead business continuity reviews and tests for operational resilience.
- Oversee and support the AILS (Acceptance Into Live Service) process.
What you’ll bring?
- Proven engineering or operational team leadership experience preferably in an IT Operations environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of fault ticketing systems and service operations.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency, especially Outlook and Forms.
- Excellent communicator confident with cross-team and customer collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with performance reporting experience.
- Experience in business continuity/disaster recovery management (desirable).
- Calm under pressure; adept at leading incident resolution in customer settings.
- ITIL or service management framework experience (advantageous).
