Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges - we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage all daily deliveries into the depot in a safe manner.
  • Manage depot stock levels and place orders as required.
  • Undertake compliance checks for received plant.
  • Ensure safe house keeping practices are followed and materials and plant are correctly stored.
  • Participate in monthly stock take audits.
  • Participate in monthly SHEQ audits and address any identified risks.
  • Organise or undertake minor depot repairs.
  • Management of waste in/out of the depot to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure yard is kept tidy and depot rules adhered to.
  • Manage Health & Safety requirements within the depot and report any non-compliance.
  • Maintain depot office consumables levels and maintain stock.
  • Undertake winter and emergency maintenance including out of hours activities.

What you'll bring:

  • Clean driving license ideally HGV class 2
  • Telehandler
  • CSCS card
