Where you’ll be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What you’ll be doing?
- You’ll ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practice.
- You’ll complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.
- We’ll need you to be responsible for setting up work sites and removal, within the code of practice, and report any damage/defects.
- You’ll work in highways with pedestrians and live traffic.
- You will be required to maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling.
What you’ll bring?
- Do you hold a clean driving licence?
- Can you demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow established procedures?
- Have you gained Water hygiene card, Water SHEA or CSCS?
- Do you hold Streetworks Operative Qualification, Emergency First Aid, Abrasive Wheels Manual Handling qualifications?
