We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing?
As our Senior Project Manager you'll be working on our Thames Water Capital Delivery contract. Ensuring compliance with M Group Water procedures to support the delivery of world class health and safety, customer and quality performance. You'll collaborate with the client, designers and delivery teams throughout the Target Cost Setting, design and delivery phases of a project. Ensure compliance with M Group Water environmental processes and procedures. Deliver excellent customer service and achieve above target customer satisfaction scores, minimise/reduce the number of complaints received. You'll drive increase productivity, without compromising on safety and continuously drive efficiency. Assist in maximising cash collection and minimising work in progress and deliver targeted margin. Ensure projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, timely way and promoting best practice in quality management.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Project Manager of delivering £multi-million utility projects for Utility Companies or similar including on a Design and Build basis
- Proven ability to deliver against operational targets
- Committed to delivering the highest health and safety standards
- Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction preferable
- Member of chartered institute or equivalent is also an advantage
- Commercially aware and engaged
- Working to IChemE Burgundy and NEC4 Options A, C and E essential, as well as managing programmes in Primavera P6
- Ensure that all engineering construction work under your control complies with all relevant construction statutory instruments in accordance with the Thames Water standards
- Able to lead multidisciplinary teams to develop a high performing team
- SMSTS UK Driving License
