Where will you be working? As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom. This role is in our People department, our People Team supports us to recruit, retain, engage and develop our people. Roles can be in talent acquisition, learning, reward, employee relations or people services. Please Note: This is a fixed term contract for 12 months!
What will you be doing? You’ll serve as the first line of phone support for employee queries, representing the People Services Team with professionalism and care. Also, you’ll respond to employee requests quickly and professionally using the CRM tool to provide a seamless service experience. You’ll be the go-to person for all inquiries related to policy, procedure, payroll, and general information, offering clear and helpful support. You’ll handle all data with confidentiality and sensitivity, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times. We ask you to maintain accurate and reliable data throughout the entire employee lifecycle. From the applicant tracking system to the Core HR system and third-party platforms. You’ll suggest thoughtful process improvements and enhancements to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the People Services Team. You’ll take on occasional project work, contributing to team initiatives and broader goals with enthusiasm and commitment.
What will you bring?
- Experience within a HR role would be advantageous, but we are open to people who are keen to progress in HR.
- You will be someone with excellent attention to detail.
- The role will have interactions with all employees across the business so you will have great customer service skills.
- You’ll be highly organised and able to prioritise workload and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Previous administration experience.
