About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded People Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis, supporting the delivery of strategic people initiatives across the division. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and executing people strategies that directly support business performance and long-term growth. You will work closely with leaders, the Group Talent Acquisition function, and L&D teams to ensure the organisation attracts, develops, and retains high-quality talent while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support, driving the development and execution of divisional people plans aligned to business goals.
  • Partner with Group Talent Acquisition to deliver effective workforce planning, ensuring the right people, skills, and capabilities are in place.
  • Contribute to and support the delivery of group-wide people initiatives and the annual divisional People activity plan.
  • Support talent management and succession planning, strengthening leadership capability and developing high-potential employees.
  • Collaborate with L&D to identify and implement opportunities to upskill and build organisational capability.
  • Provide people-focused support for TUPE transfers, mergers & acquisitions, and integration activity.
  • Use HR data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, developing and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Coach and support leaders to proactively address organisational and people challenges.
  • Support performance management and reward strategies to drive engagement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Promote best practice and share insights across the division and wider group to support continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a People Business Partner or Generalist role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting HR projects and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of TUPE (incoming and outgoing) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data insights.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent relevant HR experience).
