Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage day-to-day site delivery for water mains renewal works, including PE and ductile iron mains.
  • Plan and coordinate gangs, subcontractors, permits, materials, plant and traffic management.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme, quality standards and Thames Water requirements.
  • Oversee service transfers, testing, chlorination, sampling, commissioning and reinstatement.
  • Manage site paperwork, permits to dig, risk assessments, method statements and daily records.
  • Liaise with customers, local authorities, inspectors and client teams to resolve site issues quickly.

Required Qualifications and Training:

  • EUSR National Water Hygiene, Blue Card
  • SHEA Water, desirable
  • NRSWA Supervisor, desirable
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Permit to Dig
  • Experience / CAT and Genny Cat1
  • Knowledge of pressure testing, chlorination, sampling and commissioning paperwork
  • Experience completing ITPs (Control Point), QA checks, as-built records, weld records and handover packs
  • Understanding of PE pipe jointing requirements and quality control
  • Full UK driving licence
