As an Electrician, you'll play a key role in helping customers reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint through the installation of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions. You'll work across domestic properties, delivering high-quality installations of Solar PV systems, mechanical ventilation systems and electric storage heaters. This is a varied role that combines technical expertise, customer interaction and project ownership. You'll have the opportunity to survey, design and install your own projects, seeing them through from initial assessment to final commissioning while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.

This is a field-based role across Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire. Driving is an essential part of this role, and you'll regularly travel to customer properties throughout the region. Occasional overnight stays may be required for training, meetings or business needs.

  • Installing, testing and commissioning Solar PV systems in line with industry standards
  • Installing and commissioning mechanical ventilation systems and electric storage heaters
  • Carrying out electrical modifications, including sockets, switches and lighting circuits
  • Ensuring all installations comply with MCS requirements, Building Regulations and BS7671 Wiring Regulations
  • Completing installation documentation and MCS registrations accurately
  • Conducting electrical testing, fault-finding and commissioning activities
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults safely and efficiently
  • Inspecting and testing electrical systems, components and equipment
  • Working closely with office teams and installation colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs and maintenance activities
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience throughout every project

We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering quality work, enjoys solving problems and is passionate about helping customers transition to more sustainable energy solutions.

  • Experience working as a qualified Electrician within domestic properties
  • Knowledge of Solar PV installations and MCS regulations
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and site health and safety requirements
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • NICEIC-qualified Electrician
  • BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
  • Experience installing within occupied domestic properties
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable travelling across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire
  • Flexible to occasionally work outside normal hours and stay away from home when required for training, meetings or business needs
  • Experience working with Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV)
  • Experience in testing, fault-finding and commissioning electrical systems
