As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

A Senior Product Analyst is required to support the stability, performance and continuous improvement of Oracle ERP platforms across the wider M Group. This role will focus on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet business needs. Work will be delivered in line with ITIL processes, with strong emphasis on service quality and user experience. Close collaboration will take place with Product Owners, Business Analysts and third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced application support will be delivered across the ERP estate.
  • 3rd line support provided in line with ITIL processes and best practice.
  • Business requirements translated into clear technical specifications.
  • System enhancements planned, tested and implemented with minimal disruption.
  • Oracle ERP configuration, data setup and migration overseen.
  • Incidents and service requests managed through ITSM tools.
  • Application issues diagnosed, resolved and root causes identified.
  • Third-party suppliers managed to meet SLAs and quality standards.
  • Technical documentation maintained and kept up to date.
  • Knowledge bases developed to support ongoing service delivery.
  • GDPR-compliant data management maintained at all times.
  • Input provided into product roadmap and future system enhancements.

What you’ll bring

Candidates will demonstrate strong experience across Oracle ERP environments and application support.

Essential experience:

  • Around 5 years experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
  • Functional knowledge including:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain (Inventory, Order Management)
    • Project Costing and Billing
    • iProcurement and Purchasing
    • Time and Labour
    • Warehouse Management (including Mobile Web Applications)
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Experience within a service-led, SLA-driven environment.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capability.
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and application lifecycle management.
