You'll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
- Operate and drive an HGV gully cleansing vehicle safely and efficiently to various work locations.
- Use high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages and remove debris from drainage and gully systems.
- Accurately record job information, inspections, and completed works using a handheld tablet or digital reporting system.
- Clean, maintain, and restore gully and drainage systems to ensure they function effectively and prevent flooding.
- Consistently achieve performance benchmarks, service standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) while maintaining high levels of safety and quality.
What you'll bring:
- Clean driving licence
- A commitment to Health and Safety
- Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
- HGV / LGV Class C driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Desirable: Vactor or gully wagon experience
- High pressure jetting and gully emptying qualification.
- Highways experience
- New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation
