Where will you be working?

M Group Highways

At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working as part of a team, carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure you are meeting benchmarks and targets. You might be asked to fill in for other teams when needed. The role will require you to use small power tools and will involve the use of a tablet or phone. We’ll ask you to fill out paperwork in a timely manner, meaning time keeping is important within this role. This role will require you to be able to work in all weather types, along with working times that might on occasion change meaning you need to be flexible.

What you’ll bring:

  • We’re looking for a keen team player, able to work positively with others.
  • Do you have driving experience with large vehicles?
  • Can you use small plant (strimmer/hedge cutter/blower)?
  • Can you use tablet devices to input data?
  • General good geography of Devon or can follow a sat-nav.
  • We would like to see applications with previous experience on working on the roads.
