Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be part of our Metering and Customer Related Department who are responsible for installation/repair and replacements on the Yorkshire Water Network. You’ll ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practice. We’ll need you to complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments and demonstrate an excellent level of customer engagement/service. You’ll handle the defect/damage reporting and maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling. We’ll need you to adhere to any relevant policies and procedures and escalate issues if and when they arise.
What you’ll bring

- A recognised NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification
- A current driving licence
