Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you’ll be doing?

You’ll be ensuring all metering activities and related works are carried out safely, following MWS procedures and industry best practice, while completing and adhering to comprehensive and detailed risk assessments. You’ll be setting up and removing work sites in line with the code of practice, reporting any damage or defects, and working on highways alongside pedestrians and live traffic. You’ll be maintaining a clean and safe work site, vehicle, and tooling at all times to support safe and efficient operations.

What you’ll bring?

  • Do you hold a full UK Driving License? This is an essential requirement.
  • Can you demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow established procedures?
  • Have you gained Water hygiene card, Water SHEA or CSCS?
  • Do you hold Street works Operative Qualification, Emergency First Aid, Abrasive Wheels Manual Handling qualifications?
