Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

What will you be doing? We’re focused on doing great work, improving how we operate, and giving our people space to grow. As a Bid Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in helping us secure new opportunities and support the services that keep essential infrastructure moving. You’ll support the full bid and tender process from start to finish, keeping deadlines on track, coordinating information and making sure our submissions are accurate, professional and delivered on time. This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week from our HQ based in Silverlink Business Park.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the tender lifecycle from early stages through to final submission
  • Manage communications via tender portals and handle clarification queries
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM data to support reporting
  • Support Bid Managers with high-quality, compliant tender documents
  • Prepare bid, sales and pipeline updates for senior stakeholders
  • Organise review and governance meetings and track actions
  • Independently complete pre-qualification questionnaires
  • Maintain and improve our bid library, templates and AI tools

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation and document-preparation skills

Desirable but not deal breakers:

  • Experience in bid coordination, bid writing or tender management
  • Knowledge of utilities, energy or infrastructure sectors
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar design software
  • Understanding of bid governance and compliance processes
