Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
What will you be doing?
As part of a 24/7 shift rota, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing our strategic network and facilitating smooth service transitions. Your responsibilities will involve troubleshooting, issue resolution, and fostering effective communication with customers and various stakeholders. You’ll be working to meet 99.99% network availability and management of customer incidents and faults within agreed SLAs. You’ll support rapid restoration of network fault resolution prior to critical service failure where possible, ensuring that 3rd Party team remain within agreed fault management guidelines. You’ll take an overall pro-active responsibility for the technical support / issues arising within the environment at Data Centres, working with associated Service Desks to ensure the correct action for an incident is taken and posted to the correct resolving agency. You’ll include all necessary diagnostics / impact assessments and investigate network problems identified using pro-active management tools.
What you’ll bring
- Understanding of network management and use of Network Management Platform tools
- Proven track record of successfully prioritising simultaneous activities within SLA
- Proven track record in complex delivery of multiple teams and interfaces
- Self-motivating individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment
- Must be PC literate and competent with Word/Excel/Visio/MS Project
- Recognised technical courses on related technical products and services CCNA minimum
- Approved best practice qualifications such as ITIL, ISO
