What you'll be doing:

Based in the Rochdale office you will report to a Project Manager, your primary roles and responsibilities are set out below:

  • This role provides engineering support across a diverse portfolio of projects, covering safety, project control, procurement, site management, and quality assurance.
  • Working closely with Project and Site Managers, responsibilities include developing and monitoring programmes, controlling costs, procuring subcontractors and materials, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.
  • The role supports the implementation of health and safety procedures, quality plans, risk assessments, and site audits, while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • As a senior team member, it requires proactive problem-solving, effective stakeholder communication, and a commitment to achieving excellence in project delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum HNC qualified in Construction related Management.
  • Trained to a minimum standard of IoSH Managing Safely.
  • Although you will be experienced in delivering projects in your core skill, experience in the delivery of turnkey projects is also required.
  • Able to understand design principles and carry out design associated with minor changes.
  • Experienced in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets is preferred particularly in the construction of laboratories and cleanrooms.
  • Fully conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level in fulfilling the role of principal contractor.
