Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing?
- Reporting in to the Commercial Director, act as commercial lead for our Bexley project.
- Manage and develop commercial staff, leading by example in best commercial practice.
- Proactive identification and resolution of commercial risks and potential disputes both upstream and downstream.
- Take responsibility for all commercial reporting, ensuring submissions are on time, accurate and in accordance with governance.
- Commercial Reporting including CVRs, Aged WIP, Cashflow, end of life forecasts and other ad hoc reports and tasks in support of the business.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience working within the Infrastructure or Construction industry in a similar role.
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSC or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential.
- RICS or CICES beneficial.
- Previous experience as a successful line manager or functional manager of a commercial team.
- Prior experience of projects in value of £50m+.
- Strong professional relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
