What will you be doing?
The Scheduler & Permitter is responsible for the effective coordination and scheduling of operational work across field-based teams.
The role ensures daily workloads are optimised, work is sequenced and routed efficiently, and stakeholders are kept informed where plans change.
Working as part of a scheduling function, the Scheduler & Permitter supports safe, compliant and efficient delivery of work orders, task orders or client appointments (terminology varies by division), helping to achieve contractual, regulatory and customer performance targets. 1.

- Coordinate and schedule daily work for field operatives / engineers across multiple workstreams, ensuring plans are realistic and achievable. - Optimise daily workloads so each operative has a balanced schedule that maximises productivity while remaining safe and compliant. - Allocate additional or filler tasks where required to ensure effective use of available resource. - Review upcoming work and make adjustments to reflect priorities, resource availability and operational constraints. - Ensure all work is scheduled in line with relevant policies, procedures and safety requirements.
