This role will be within our Fixed Networks team, where you'll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning of new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our fixed-line field service operations. This is a key leadership role that ensures reliable service for homes and businesses. You will manage teams that deliver and maintain our network, making sure customers receive the highest quality service.
You will oversee all field activities, including service activation and fault repair. You will guide in-house teams and contractors to work safely and efficiently. You will ensure our network assets are maintained to the right standards and meet all regulations. You will use planning tools to ensure technicians are scheduled well and customer issues are resolved quickly.
We need someone who understands large-scale networks and field operations. You will care about safety, quality, and customer experience. Your experience will include at least eight years in this field and four years in a senior leadership role where you managed fixed-line networks. You will understand how large-scale networks operate and how to keep them reliable for customers.
You will know how Fibre-to-the-X networks work, including GPON and XGS-PON architecture. You will have experience in the deployment and maintenance of these networks. You will also have managed field service teams and understand the safety and logistical requirements that come with this responsibility.
You will know how to manage budgets and control costs without compromising service quality. You will understand how to use data and processes to drive continuous improvement across operations.
