Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What will you be doing?
As our Plumbing Supervisor, you will lead and supervise the Plumbing Team based in Wantage, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll manage day-to-day compliance, making sure all jobs meet health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation, procedures, and standards. You'll ensure M Group Water job packs and team packs are followed, implementing safety initiatives where required. Responsibilities include:
- Completing and signing off permits
- Carrying out van audits
- Checking training certification and competence
- Ensuring teams accurately complete data in OFS/Work Mobile
- Making sure all plant and equipment is safe, calibrated, and used only by authorised personnel
- Conducting and recording toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Completing site audits and hazard reports
- Ensuring all jobs meet environmental standards
- Maintaining data integrity across all completed work
- Carrying out random data checks covering serial numbers, coordinates, photograph quality, route accuracy, and task timings
