We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be an experienced HVAC Work Package Manager responsible for supporting and delivering engineering and construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Works closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project activities, manage procurement, monitor progress, and maintain cost control. Ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems through audits, inspections, and site supervision. Skilled in programme planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, achieving project objectives, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and delivering successful project outcomes.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum HNC qualified in Building Services or Building Studies.
- Trained to a minimum standard of IoSH Managing Safely.
- Experience in delivering turnkey projects is required.
- Able to understand design principles and carry out design associated with minor changes.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets is preferred, particularly in the construction of laboratories and cleanrooms.
- Working knowledge of company safety and quality procedures.
- IT literate and conversant with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Project.
- Fully conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level in fulfilling the role of principal contractor.
- Minimum 10 years experience in industry.
