Where you’ll be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What you’ll be doing?
You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You’ll be working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.
What you’ll bring?
- Previous experience working in ATEX zones and hazardous areas
- Working knowledge of key Ex protection concepts, such as Ex d (Flameproof), Ex e (Increased Safety), and Ex i (Intrinsic Safety)
- CompEx Ex01Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
- NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or Installation
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing qualification
- Industrial experience
- (Preferably) CompEx Ex05Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAF, IOSH, or CCNSG
