Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.
What will you be doing?
An opportunity is available within the Telecoms Division at MGroup Ltd. The role is for an Assistant Project Manager. Support will be provided to key projects across the direct labour operation and build activity. The role is office based in Leyland and offers a stable and structured working environment. The position has been created to support the delivery of projects from start to finish. Day to day assistance will be given to Project Managers and senior team members. Work will be focused on planning, tracking progress and helping projects to stay on time and within agreed scope. Close involvement will be expected across operational and build activity. Support will be provided with project records, schedules and reports. Information will be gathered and shared in a clear and timely way. Liaison will take place with internal teams and approved partners. A consistent and organised approach will be required at all times.
The role will suit someone who is developing a career in project management. Experience within a project or operational setting will be helpful. Exposure to construction, utilities or telecoms environments will be welcomed. Strong organisation, attention to detail and clear written skills will be important.
