Water and wastewater capital project delivery team.
Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it?
You'll join the Storm Overflow Alliance, working in partnership with Yorkshire Water and three key delivery partners. While the role will primarily support project planning on waste schemes, you'll also spend time at our Alliance office at 4 Astley Way, Swillington, Leeds LS26 8XT.
What will you be doing?
You'll create and manage programmes for all project works, directing activities and developing a robust preconstruction schedule. You'll monitor progress against milestones, assist with Early Warning and Compensation Event processes, and evaluate change. Planning will always align with tender and contract requirements. You'll prepare and maintain cost/resource-loaded schedules in P6, analyse ongoing progress (CL32/CL33), and determine any variances. You'll work closely with project management and engineers to review progress, tackle issues, and provide regular reports. Through progress reporting and earned value analysis, you'll recommend actions to maintain or improve the performance of our construction projects.
What you'll bring
Do you have Civils and MEICA experience within the wastewater industry? Are you proficient in P6 and familiar with NEC contract requirements? Can you demonstrate detailed understanding and previous experience of NEC contracts? You'll need excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues at all levels and drive improvement. You'll require a full driving licence for some site-based travel. We're seeking someone with proven experience who can hit the ground running, applying their planning expertise to wastewater projects in a collaborative, multi-partner environment.
