Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our clean water Repair and Maintenance team, reporting to the project manager. Our teams deliver small to large repairs on the Yorkshire Water network aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing? You'll lead field supervision teams, ensuring our Repair & Maintenance and Metering operations, including DMA work (planned installation of bulk meters, PRVs, by-passes), consistently deliver compliance, safety, and customer service excellence. You'll monitor performance, oversee resource deployment, drive improvements, and ensure activities meet company, client, and statutory standards. Focusing more on planned and technical work streams, you'll champion a safety culture, proactively manage risk, and support teams, helping maintain high standards and operational integrity, always prioritising the safety of colleagues and customers.

What you'll bring: Have you led teams in utilities, water, civils, or infrastructure operations, driving compliance and operational excellence? Can you demonstrate robust knowledge of excavation safety, utility avoidance, and CAT & Genny requirements? Do you excel at monitoring reports, managing corrective actions, and promoting high standards? Are you confident with Microsoft Office and communicating effectively with teams? Holding NRSWA, IOSH, or utility-specific training is highly desirable.
