Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Transmission & Renewables team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity. This is a full-time 9-month FTC position working on the Monk Fryston project in West Yorkshire.

What will you be doing?

  • As a Commercial Administrator, you’ll offer support to the Commercial team on a major Renewables project.
  • Collate and report on weekly expenditure on labour, plant and materials.
  • Report and advise on variances in weekly expenditure against forecast.
  • Co-ordinate SODA approvals of all procurement.
  • Raising of purchase orders to support and maintain the construction programme, ensuring approved requisitions are in place.
  • Processing goods received notes (GRN's) and resolving any supplier invoicing queries.
  • Raising of client invoices and tracking through to payment receipt.
  • Collation and validation of monthly costs.
  • Support in the preparation of the monthly CVR process.
  • Support the Project Quantity Surveyor with raising of subcontractor payments and issuance of Payment and/or Pay Less Notices in accordance to contractual timescales.
  • Support the Project Quantity Surveyor to collate cost data to support Change submissions to the Client.
  • Uphold the highest standards of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in all commercial records.
