You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
Lead commercial management across a portfolio of contracts, ensuring accurate valuations and strong cost control. Shape project-level commercial strategy, supporting tender development and supply chain engagement. Provide expert commercial advice, manage risk, and act as the escalation point for subcontract, client, and internal issues. Oversee valuations, change control, commercial governance, and contractual compliance. Manage subcontract procurement, onboarding, agreements, payments, variations, and final accounts. Maintain robust cost and financial controls, ensuring accurate reporting of costs, accruals, liabilities, and margins. Produce and present CVRs, forecasts, cashflows, WIP, and commercial performance reporting. Analyse contract KPIs and SLAs, identifying risks, opportunities, and value impacts. Ensure complete, compliant, audit-ready commercial records and registers. Support continuous improvement and development of commercial processes and team capability.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in Infrastructure or Construction in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract suites.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and commercial data analysis capability.
- Experience with FIDIC, JCT or bespoke contract forms.
- Wider exposure to varied project types and commercial environments.
