Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery - Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing?
As our Task Team Operative, you’ll be part of our Repair and Maintenance Team based in our Deighton Depot in Huddersfield who are responsible for the Maintenance of Yorkshire Water clean water infrastructure. You’ll be operating a Toughbook to feedback real time job details. Using our mobile technology to record real time footage from site. You’ll assist the Team Leader with SLG and site set ups in the Highway. Learn new skills including excavation of the public highway and repairs to the network. We’ll also need you to assist the management team and adhere to company policies to ensure that you are working safe and wearing full PPE.
What you’ll bring
- Do you hold a valid Driving Licence?
- Have you got a Street works certification?
- Do you hold EUSR Water Hygiene and EUSR CAT 1 & 2?
