Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges - we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor. Our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
- Efficiently and effectively upload all data into a tablet, completing all relevant paperwork daily.
- Clean all assets on schedule with the help of a digger to the benchmark.
- Strim assets, dig out the mouth of grips, and clean off roads.
- Identify and document any locations that may contain cables or signs of services.
- Work comfortably outdoors in all weather conditions.
What you’ll bring:
- A full driving license.
- Previous knowledge of working on roads is preferred.
- Ability to work to a timeline and fill in paperwork using a tablet.
- Willingness to adjust hours as needed to complete different roads when called upon.
- Tickets to operate strimmer, blower, hedge cutter, or CAT + Genny are preferred.
