Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to ensure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.
What will you be doing? You’ll be the central point for planning and coordination, ensuring our Data Collection teams are deployed effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and Allocation: Assigning work across multiple systems to ensure every job is completed within the required timeframes.
- Capacity Management: Balancing resources against demand by managing annual leave, monitoring shrinkage, and adjusting system settings.
- Performance Analysis: Reviewing productivity data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to keep operations running at peak efficiency.
- Collaboration: Working closely with Operations and Field Managers to resolve challenges, prioritise urgent work, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Supporting system enhancements and process improvements to optimise routes and workflows.
Your role is critical to ensuring that customer commitments are met and that our teams have everything they need to succeed. This is a remote role, giving you flexibility in where you work, while still being fully connected to the team. Ideally, you’ll be based in South East of England to allow for in-person collaboration when needed.
