Where will you be working? Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.
What will you be doing?
- Maintenance of high voltage traction systems as part of a small team
- Working as assistant to Electrician or Test and Commissioning Engineer
- Installing new, modifying and testing complex (predominantly railway) electrical systems
What they’ll bring:
- Flexibility, reliability and a strong desire to learn and develop
- Good basic understanding of electrical installations (part-trained electrician preferred)
- Practical experience of works in varied and challenging environments
- Electromechanical skills - mechanical fitter experience in manufacturing or servicing beneficial
- Driving Licence essential, PTS highly advantageous
- Level C Substation Authorisation preferred
