Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What will you be doing?
Day to day, you’ll deliver fittings, backfill materials, reinstatement materials, signing, lighting and guarding to the site along with setting up sites in accordance with the Red book and NRSWA guidelines. You’ll complete waste transfer documentation and handle wash downs of sites on completion of works, as well as completion and submission of Safety Observations. You’ll adhere to the professional driver requirements, including defect reporting, daily vehicle inspections, weight limit compliance and general highway code compliance.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in the water industry, reinstatement and excavations in the highway.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving license.
- EUSR Water Hygiene and EUSR SHEA Water (desirable).
