Youll be joining ourHighways maintenance team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
- Work as part of a team undertaking highway repairs.
- Undertaking stonework and brick work replacement, upgrades and repairs on Wiltshire Highways structures.
- Examples of some tasks are footways & drainage repairs and upgrades, installationor replacement of highways structures such as bridges & culverts, brick/stone work repairs, vegetation clearance.
- Usetechnology(tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records.
- Drive/operate plant and equipment wheretrained,necessary for the for the day to day tasks set.
- Take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge.
- Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives.
- Undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota.
- Clean driving License

- Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
- Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
- LGV Class C driving licence OR demonstrate capability to support investment of LGV Class C training during probationary period.
